NEMi and Shrewsbury Food Festival
Shrewsbury Food Festival
NEMi Milk made a splash at the magnificent Shrewsbury Food Festival!
We were delighted to present ourselves (and our amazing NEMi milk) to the lovely people of Shrewsbury last weekend at their food festival at the beautiful Quarry Park! We had such a fun time giving out free milk tastings to everybody interested as well as serving up some of our delicious fresh milkshakes.
I am not going to deny that the lead-up wasn't stressful. Having never towed anything in our lives, me, my sister and the rest of our family were pretty clueless, so thank goodness other members of the NEMi team were on hand with their towing expertise (thanks again Colin)! Once we had managed to get our milkshake van on to the show ground (after a good half an hour of Dad pulling the trailer round and round in circles attempting to put the trailer in the correct position), we were ready to go.
We had so much positive feedback from the people trying our milk, and it was certainly a hit with all of the children. It is so wonderful when a person who 'doesn't like milk' or 'doesn't drink milk' is convinced into trying NEMi's wonderfully creamy version, and is surprised by how much they actually like it! We were constantly told that our milk 'tastes like milk used to' which makes us all burst with pride.
It was also lovely to see some of our wonderful customers at the Shrewsbury food festival, including Battlefield 1403 Farm Shop, Fordhall Farm Shop and, of course, Rowlands Fresh Produce. It is amazing to see how successful businesses can be when they work together with their local communities and support each other! We are so thankful that we can supply such incredible local shops with NEMi milk.
I have included a few photographs from the weekend, and now I am going to go and enjoy a creamy ginger nut milkshake in order to reminisce after a great weekend!
Thank you to anybody who visited us at our stand!
